By creating an account or using GNB Scanner (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
GNB Scanner aggregates publicly available New Brunswick tax-sale and surplus-property information from Government of New Brunswick sources and presents it on a map with assessment and parcel data. The Service is an information and research tool only. It is not a real estate brokerage, not legal or financial advice, and not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of New Brunswick or Service New Brunswick.
Property data is sourced from third-party government systems and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Geocoded map locations are approximate. You are solely responsible for verifying any property detail โ including auction dates, locations, upset prices, ownership, encumbrances, and access rights โ directly with the relevant government department before acting. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.
Parcel boundaries, satellite imagery, assessment figures, and building information shown in the Service are derived from GeoNB / Service New Brunswick public data services and third-party imagery providers (including Esri). This data is reproduced for research convenience only. It is not authoritative, may be out of date, and parcel boundaries displayed over imagery are approximate and may not reflect legal lot lines, easements, or rights of way. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for GeoNB or Service New Brunswick. For authoritative parcel, title, survey, and assessment information, consult GeoNB and Service New Brunswick directly.
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be the age of majority in New Brunswick. One account per person.
You may not resell, redistribute, or bulk-scrape the Service's data; attempt to break authentication or access other users' accounts; or use the Service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of GNB Scanner is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from reliance on its data, including any loss related to a property purchase, bid, or missed opportunity. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, warranty, or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including New Brunswick consumer protection legislation. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be noted by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
